Affirmative Action Guidelines

The University at Buffalo is committed to developing and maintaining an environment in which all the members of our campus community- and especially those whose opportunities for education and professional advancement have historically been limited- are welcomed and encouraged to grow.

In keeping with this commitment, UB upholds all state and federal laws that ensure opportunity for all Americans, regardless of age, religion or creed, color, physical ability, national origin, race, ethnicity, gender, and marital or veteran status. If each of us is to realize our full personal and professional potential and to service others as responsively as possible, we must foster, explore, and celebrate UB's diversity.

Affirmative Action’s Recruitment Policy and Recruitment Exception Policy define specific guidelines and policy requirements that will assist you in preparing for a recruitment.
