Wellness and Work-Life Balance Registration

This section covers a wide range of holistic and alternative approaches to creating
balance in your life with work. You will realize many benefits when you apply life balance techniques such as reduced stress, increased productivity, and improved relationships both on and off the job.

 


Weight Watchers at Work

Weight Watchers has a new twist on their dietary program.  The cost for a 12 week session is only $144.00 payable through payroll deduction. You can bring Weight Watchers to your department.  With at least fifteen registered participants from your area, an at work meeting can be set up right in your building.  Please call Amy at 645-5357 for more details.


IAMT Meditation

The Fundamentals of Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) Are:

  • Simple Yoga Posture
  • Breathing
  • Visualization
  • Sound
This technique, taught by UB’s own Dr. Bharat Jayaraman can be practiced in 20 minutes and, if used regularly, promises to reduce stress & anxiety.

Are you thinking about quitting smoking? Come explore your own connection with smoking. Reflect on the benefits of continuing to smoke and the benefits of quitting, as we assist you to create a personal plan to cut back and quit for good. A link to free nicotine replacement gum, lozenges or patches will also be provided.

Pilates

An  Eight-Week Piltes Course, Taught by Anne D'Angelo

Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

*All skill and experience levels welcome.


The fee for this series of eight classes is $50.00.
