Join the UB Community OutReach for Employees (CORE) Program

In a great place to work, the workforce is engaged in opportunities to promote pride and camaraderie. The time has come to make an impact on the internal and external UB and WNY communities as one, unified force of volunteers.

Join the new UB Community OutReach for Employees (CORE) program, so that we can:

  • Continue the community/volunteer programs in which we are already involved (e.g., Ride for Roswell, Linda Yalem Run);
  • Have more opportunities to meet other UB staff and faculty;
  • Expand the opportunities to volunteer to places or organizations where capable UB volunteers are really needed – sometimes in our own backyard.

What do I get by joining CORE?

By joining CORE, you will be notified of all opportunities to volunteer with as much advance notice as possible. You make the decision as to which projects or events you want to participate. You are under no obligation to participate in all the opportunities we hope to make available as time goes on but hope that you can find the time to lend when able.  We want the WNY community to know that UB is making an impact and wants to help.

Still have questions?

If you have any questions about joining UB CORE or you have suggestions or information to share about projects in which you are already participating as an individual or as a group, please contact the staff of Wellness and Work/Life Balance at 716 645-5357 or e-mail . The projects and events that will be promoted to UB CORE will be chosen in collaboration with Community Relations, External Affairs and with the approval from senior UB leadership.
