22nd Annual Day of Caring: August 20, 2014

Help UB Make a Difference

UB is proud to be a part of the 22nd Annual Day of Caring on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.   This is Western New York's largest community service event, mobilizing thousands of volunteers to complete hands-on, community service projects in Erie and Niagara counties.  Organized by the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, the Day of Caring serves as a launch of the university’s annual Campaign for the Community. Hundreds of UB faculty, staff, and students volunteer their time to complete projects in the local community.

Join your UB colleagues for this fun, camaraderie-building event:

    • Event starts at 8 am at the First Niagara Center;
    • Enjoy a free breakfast and networking with friends/colleagues;
    • Depart for site(s) at approximately 8:45 am by bus;
    • Return to the First Niagara Center by noon by bus;
    • Enjoy the after-party for volunteers which includes:
      • Free lunch
      • Free entertainment
    • Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference!
