| 17th Annual Day of Caring August 19 ,2009 |
UB Cares
UB is proud to be a part of the 17th Annual Day of Caring on Wednesday, August, 19, 2009. This is Western New York's largest community service event, mobilizing thousands of volunteers to complete hands-on, community service projects in Erie and Niagara counties. Organized by the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, the Day of Caring serves as a launch of the university’s annual Campaign for the Community. Hundreds of UB faculty, staff, and students volunteer their time to complete projects in the local community.
This year we are pleased to announce that we will be working with the following three organizations on the Day of Caring. These organizations are all community partners, already affiliated with UB’s new employee volunteer program called UB CORE (Community OutReach for Employees).
